Sala Thalia again

Another view of Sala Thalia. I did mean to go to a concert this evening (the day I was taking these pictures was my final day in Sibiu) but in the end was so tired and needed to pack up my stuff so I never managed it in the end. I’ll just have to go back one day 🙂

Towering (2)

Not a very Christmassy photo, I suspect Sibiu at Christmas is a LOT colder than it was here in this picture in October! This is the same tower I showed a couple of days ago, but the landscape photo shows how close it is to Sala Thalia.

Towering (1)

This part of Sibiu was fascinating, you only had to turn round on the spot to see all sorts of things. This is one of the towers that still survives from the original medieval city walls.

Nessie?

This is another of the grass sculptures near the Sala Thalia. Maybe because I knew I would be returning to Scotland a couple of days after I took this, this reminded me of the Loch Ness Monster.
