Piata Mica from the bridge

This is Piata Mica and Turnul Sfaturilor taken from a stand-point on the Liars’ Bridge. In response to a comment yesterday, the bridge is so-called because of a legend that if anyone told a lie whilst standing on the bridge it would collapse.

Another very fine photograph. And thanks for the explanation. Evidently, it’s merely an old wives tale, though. The bridge is still there and I’ll betcha a few lies have been told while walking across it.

  2. That’s a very nice general view and I love those old superstitions.

  3. I really like this photo. Very picturesque. I enjoy following your website. Happy Photo Blogging!

Were you tempted to tell a fib while on it?
